7 Ways Posterous Improves Your Social Media Presence
By Cindy King
Published December 21, 2009Posterous is a social media platform where it’s very easy to post just about anything—photos, videos and words. You can set up your account and publish content simply by sending an email. Yes it’s that simple!
Posterous is known as the most “social” networking place of social media. It’s also the ideal solution for sharing content that’s too long for a tweet and too short for a blog post.
There are many different reasons and motivations to create a free Posterous account. Let’s have a look at the 7 most common reasons for businesses to use Posterous.
#1: Can Replace Your BlogWhen a regular blog is not for you, Posterous can give you similar advantages to a regular blog without the work of setting up a blog and maintaining it. All you have to do is send in your content by email. It’s that simple. This is why Posterous is great for lifestreaming.
This can be a good starting point for businesses hesitating to create their own blog. Posterous can provide a place to learn more about social media and develop the right content strategies.
#2: Fills a Gap Between Blogging and MicrobloggingPosterous is an easy way to publish more content to reach different audiences. Steve Rubel says, “I still see a big space in between blogs and Twitter that allows you to have a hub and spoke strategy and post in multiple formats.”
And as Ted Villa says, “Posterous is clean and nimble, simple to use and a great tool in any organization’s social media toolkit. It’s a great way to extend a client’s footprint online and increase links to their site as well as their social media sites.”
This can fill a gap in your presence on social media.
#3: Can Improve Your VisibilityPosterous can help you improve your visibility in search results in two ways.
First, you have more updates for search engines to find. If you like to share photos and videos online, Posterous makes it very easy to do this (see reason #7 below for more details). And with photo and video publishing made this easy, you end up sharing more content to increase your online search results.
Second, you can publish your Posterous content on your own website. Unlike other social media platforms, you can set up your Posterous account on your own URL. This means you can set up your Posterous account on:
- Your own domain name separate from your company website
- Or even use a sub-domain of your current website or blog
This is something important to keep in mind as the social media landscape changes over time.
#4: Gives You Another Voice on Social MediaMany business professionals also use Posterous to post content that would be off topic on their main website or blog and engage with a different audience online.
Posterous provides an easy venue to share different “social” content. A separate platform makes it easy to create an additional point of connection with your audience, with a different style, to engage different mindsets. As Debbie Weil says, “There are distinct differences in how you talk or write for the different platforms. Simply put, you write in a different ‘voice’ and, generally, talk about different topics.”
This makes it easy to reach out to different audiences.
#5: Makes it Easy for Groups to Publish ContentPosterous allows you to set up group accounts too. This means you can set up:
- Posterous pages for individual team members
- Collaborative Posterous pages for different company employees to post on the same page
- Collaborative Posterous pages to bring people outside your company to collaborate on one Posterous page
Here’s one example of how Posterous brings social networking to a higher level: ClickIdeas
#6: Helps You to Segment Content for Different AudiencesYou can use your Posterous account to create different points of contact with your audience. Pat Kitano says, “I originally intended this slideshow (How to create a blog without “writing” one) for local businesspeople who wanted a blog for marketing purposes, but didn’t have the inclination to start a blog due to writing and time commitments. After posting the slideshow, I received feedback that Posterous was a great method to create new ‘blogs’ on a variety of topics and interests that were parallel to the principal blog. One mentioned how fast Posterous blogs were indexed by Google.”
This makes it easy to test different market segments outside of your main blog or website.
#7: Is the Easiest Option to Share PhotosPosterous is simply the easiest social media platform to share photos and videos. All you have to do is email your photo or video to Posterous and it does everything else. This means you can publish your favorite photos and videos from any location where you have access to your email, even from your mobile phone.
This is why many users choose to post all of their photos and videos to Posterous and set it up to feed their Facebook, Twitter and other social media profiles.
Bonus: Makes You Easy To Connect WithSometimes a personal touch helps you to create a stronger connection with your audience on social media. This is why some business professionals use Posterous as a place to provide a unique glimpse into their personal lives.
Jason Falls does a good job at providing both personal and business insights on his Posterous page: Falls, Off the Rocker. He links to these Posterous posts from his Twitter account and invites his Twitter followers to get to know him better.
A Step Toward Creating Social Connections
Creating a social presence and adapting to different social media platforms are not easy for many businesses. Posterous provides a way for businesses to make a social connection between their own website and other social media platforms as they learn more about incorporating social media into their current marketing tactics.

- And remember to subscribe to Social Media Examiner. There’s more to come on Posterous and other social media platforms.
Now It’s Your Turn

Nice Posterous Overview and Why You Should Lifestream December 23, 2009 | by: Mark Krynsky | Posted in : Newsbites
Today Len Kendall did a great write-up outlining the features and value of Posterous. He did this from a PR standpoint but I think it applies to everyone. If you still haven’t tried the service, this is a great overview.
You can also take a look at my post describing the difference between Posterous and the more common Lifestreaming aggregation model.
Len’s post also discusses why you should be Lifestreaming by covering the value of sharing resources with other people and spurring conversations around that content. I’ve also written several posts on that subject including Why you should be Lifestreaming? and 5 elements for a well balanced Lifestream worth reading if you need some more reasons.
One of my favorite features about Posterous is its auto-posting (syndicatoin) features. Here’s a snip from Len describing his workflow with regards to that:
Syndication is one of the biggest benefits of Posterous. When you send an email post, it not only pops up on your Posterous blog, but you can easily have it syndicatate to all your other pages such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, etc. A lot of people ask (in PR, and outside) how do you manage so many social networks? The answer is that you don't. You just manage a few that syndicate the content elsewhere. I personally don't like spending time on Facebook and LinkedIn for example, but all my content still streams to those sites. If people want to follow me there, they can do easily because of this tool. If they happen to interact with me there, I have notifications in place to respond on the specific site if needed.

Viigo is Your Friend

It’s Christmas.
And chances are you are out and about, doing your last minute shopping and preparations.
But, in the midst of the festive chaos, your blog gets thrown down the bottom of the to-do list as hosting family members and shovelling snow off your driveway takes priority.
You’re not alone.
Thoughts of an abandoned blog have filled me with guilt. But then I realised it doesn’t have to be such a painful thing to do.
As an avid mobile device (BlackBerry) user, responding to comments, and keeping up to date with my favourite blogs has been a doddle.
What’s made this even more natural to do, requiring less effort has been the RSS subscription service by Viigo. It’s made keeping on top of my blogging commitments a click and a scroll away – and at the most convenient of times.
Share Your DiscoveriesViigo (mobile) offers the much needed one-click access to keep in touch with your favourite blogs for new content. It also gives you the ability to share your favourite posts through its social media module which includes platforms such as Twitter, Friendfeed e.t.c

John,
This is so fresh! You rose to the challenge I tweeted you by writing a post about Viigo. You get much respect for that. You’re also way ahead of me on this. I’m lost when I’m on the go. My cell phone is so old, that I don’t even think they make them anymore. Great post and certainly one that I will be alerting my followers to.Thanks!

Alexa Reviews of 10 Blogs that I Read – Part 1
December 18, 2009 by Uttoran Sen
Getting a review of your blog on the Alexa website is believed to have positive effect on the Alexa rank. So, I thought to make some reviews of those blogs that I frequently visit and thus came up with the first batch of reviews. Following are the 10 blogs that I reviewed on Alexa, and am planning to come up with another batch soon, am already working on the next lot as I have a big list so those that are left out, I will get to you soon.
If anyone wants to return the favour, you can review Sniff India at Alexa or those that missed out and wants to get into the next round of blog reviews, please review my blog and mention it on the comments, and I will add your blog in the next part of the review.
Tech Cats – Rajesh Kanuri, is one of the speed commentators on the net and runs the blog, techcats, which is a technology, blogging tips and social media targeted blog. Rajesh is an engineer off line and is from Hyderabad and his passion and hobby is blogging. Techcats is a sweet and simple looking, clean and clear thesis theme enabled wordpress blog, with good navigation and high quality content. I have personally followed his blog for some time and the content is engaging, and I also like the fact that he welcomes his readers and commentators on his blog and also actively comments on his reader’s blogs. On tech cats, don’t forget to check out his services page, where Rajesh provides services like setting up blogs or doing seo on them.
Freemanlegacyllc – freeman legacy llc is a cool blog that covers social media and web2.0 stuff, which also includes technology, blogging tips, and various how-tos and make money online stuff. However, we should not forget that it’s a personal blog of Ms. freeman and thus it covers personal posts about how she stepped into the blogging world etc. About Ms. Freeman, she is a proud mother and a happy blogger
Rahul Buzz – Rahul Buzz or tech buzz as the blog is called, is a technology targeted blog with tech and web2.0, apple, computers etc. related articles. Rahul is also an active commentator, so if he knew that your blog exists he will surely try to get active with your community.
Gupshupblog – Sunil Jain, is a very active blogger in the blogosphere and runs the gupshupblog. Sunil, apparently just 19 is not just a good blogger but is also a great commentator; I would be surprised if you haven’t found him on the top commentators list of some of the famous blogs out there. The Gupshupblog was started back in the late 2008, which is an entertainment focused tech and internet blog, with categories related to blogging tips, tech, internet and web2.0.
Ileane –ileane’s blog is a free hosted wordpress blog with high quality content which is not just information rich but is highly communicative too, it connects with the readers in a great way. Ileane is a very active bloggers and I have found her blog on every blogging community I have visited or been active of. The blog talks about the technology ad web2.0 stuff and other internet related things, though her social media interest is truly admirable.
Techpp – techpp or technically personal as it is known is a tech focused blog, with technology targeted how to guides and information. Techpp is run by Raju who is a very active blogger and bring out high quality articles on his blog. Techpp makes technology simple, so that with raju’s personal touch, it actually becomes easier to understand technology for the non technologically active guys.
Hellboundbloggers – S.Pradeep Kumar, a computer science student at the moment, is the owner of the hellboundbloggers. This blog targets the technology niche with blogging and make money online related articles. The other topics that the blog covers is the tech tips, various internet related lists and wordpress tips and tricks. Hellboundbloggers had the origination from the blogspot free hosting system, finally got the domain in the early months of 2009, apparently its one of the leading blogs of the blogging tips niche.
Extremejohn – extreme john is for me an A-list blog, with high quality articles and has equally good conversation on the comments section, to say the least; it has a very talkative and active community. About the extremejohn blog, it’s not really based on a particular niche, though most of the articles are about blogging, web2.0, tech and social media focused, but overall the blog covers a lot more topic and is quite a personal blog of john.
Shoutmeloud – Shoutmeloud is the fastest growing tech and blogging tips related blog with one of the most active and happening community. Harsh Agrawal is the guy behind shoutmeloud, a professional blogger, and when I say professional I mean a fulltime blogger, from Delhi, India. Shoutmeloud covers various tech topics which include internet, computer, make money online and blogging tips and is possibly the most frequently updated blog I have seen so far.
Wassupblog – wassupblog is a great example of a blogging community where comments are valued a lot more, perhaps even more than generating income. Wassupblog is run by an Australian guy, Sire, who not only values comments and building a community but is always ready to give a lot more to his readers in return for their time spent on his blog and is also working on atleast 9 blogs at the moment which are all connected from his primary blog which is wassupblog. The blog is a technology focused blog and covers a wide range of tech and internet topics.
Will be coming with more reviews shortly, please feel free to subscribe to my feeds and retweet this post or promote it in any other way, thanks.

BlogEngage: First 10,000 Votes
by Alison Moore Smith on December 18, 2009
It started innocently enough. I joined a social network for bloggers and browsed around. Soon, I met some great folks like Ileane, karlfoxley1, AggieBrad, hishaman, and many others. And, of course, bbrian017, creator of BlogEngage.
After seeing some very helpful, generous behavior from others, I decided that my “pay it forward” would be to blast out some voting love to as many other bloggers as I could handle. Just a little pat on the back of encouragement. No big deal.
But then, just a few hours ago, I was apprised that my aggressive move to win the contest was being watched. Only problem was, I didn’t know I was competing! I knew Brian was running a year-end contest, but given my late-in-the-year introduction to BlogEngage, I didn’t imagine I could be in the running, so I never bothered to even read the details.
Look, we have six kids, I homeschool, we own three companies, I crank out three blogs (one large group blog and two smaller blogs). Did I mention that it’s Christmas week and we are in the middle of building our dream home? Worrying about the beating out other bloggers just isn’t on the agenda this month…year…decade.
Still, I thought it would be a fun challenge to see if I could vote up enough blog posts to get to the 10,000 mark. Early this morning, it happened.
So come on along everyone! Vote up your friends. It’s nice up here and I don’t want to be alone!

Thanks, Brian. The answer lies in the amount of sleep I average each night. About 4. Not good for overall well-being. Really good for BlogEngage voting!
I do not underestimate the powers of those barely behind me to catch up! I just wanted to break the 10,000 mark first. Make a bit of BE history. Now, back to me real life!

I’ll take a shot at your contest. I have to confess that Alexa baffles me. The data seems flawed to me. But my guess will be flawed as well, so maybe they’ll converge!

Screenr.com is a website that you can use to create a screencast. A screencast is simply a recording of whatever is happening
on your computer’s monitor. If you don’t have a microphone the screencast will not have any sound. However, if you do have a microphone you can add audio to your screencast. This is a good technique to use for instructional purposes and to create how-to videos.
Go to the Screenr website at http://screenr.com and sign in with your Twitter account or create a new log in. On the homepage there is a short video that shows you how to use the interface. Choose “Record your screencast now!” and Screenr will generate a frame that you can resize to capture a specific area on your screen or you can record your full screen. You will need to keep the Screenr window open in your browser in order for the recording to work.
You can also use your webcam to include your image on the screencast if you like. When you are finished recording hit “Done” and Screenr will process your video to be shared on Twitter including a mobile device to your social network of friends and followers.
Screenr is a fast and efficient way to create screencasts and share your videos. The speed of processing and the easy access to posting your video to Twitter and your mobile device is unlike any other website to date. You can also upload your screencast to YouTube after you send your Tweet.

Do you thank your blog visitors?
Dec16Written by:Robert Bravery
2009/12/16 11:46 AM
How many readers does your blog attract? Whether it is only a few hundred or something as magnificent as many thousands per day, we all have to remember that our readers and visitors make our blogs. Without readers and visitors, our blogs are just dead words, and we are just cyber squatting.
There has been a big spat lately about comments and replying to comments. Read about it here: Why I comment on A-list Blogs.
You provide a service. This got me thinking. If our readers are so important to us. Then why don’t so many bloggers treat them as such. If you were to have a physical business that offers a physical service of some kind and a client popped in and made use of that service. How would you treat them? Would you ignore them? Would you argue with them. Would you act arrogantly towards them?
Hopefully you answered no and you said to your self that you would treat your customers, every one of them, with utmost respect. You would pay attention to every ones problems no matter how small or large. You would thank all your customers. After all they are paying customers requiring your service aren’t they.
If you would do this for a physical business, why not for a blog. So many bloggers forget the importance of their visitors. Many blogs are monetised. How do they get their money? Well, easy, every time I visit a blog that is monetised with something like ads, the blogger gets a portion of money for every ad that is displayed to me. They also get money if I click on one of those ads. So in the strict sense, I am a paying customer.
Lose me and you lose money. Don’t you get it.
If so. WHY ARE YOU NOT TREATING ME WITH MORE RESPECT. I am paying for your salary. In part at least.
Your blog, no matter what it is, is providing a service to your readers. People come to you blog to find information, get a laugh, answer a question.
Show some respect, be thankful.Once you have come to the correct understanding of your readers, then it’s time to take action. Show some respect to your readers. Thank them often. As much as possible answer as many comments as you can, where possible and where it makes sense. Don’t neglect your loyal readers.
Be kind, do not come off as some arrogant blogger that cannot be reached. Show people that you are just like them with similar problems and issues
As a result I would like to thank a few of my loyal readers, and send some link love their way. I might not mention you all by name but you know I care.
THANK YOU ALL.

Have I missed you out? Please do not take offense, you know I care. I only have so much space on my server.
Who have you thanked today? My challenge to you this week is to thank at least two – three of your readers. You can do this by simply replying to their comments, or sending them an email. Be genuine, be respectful, be grateful.
Have you thanked a reader today?
Remember you can win a weeks worth of free ad space just for commenting. The best comments during the week will get a weeks free advertising space. Check out: Win free advertising for your blog

Branding Websites And BlogsBy Gordon – December 13, 2009
How many times did you just buy something because it was from a certain manufacturer and didn’t really care to check if it really had quality or not? You know the manufacturer has good history, a huge amount of people use and like it, it has never let you down before and even if it did, you would probably still buy from the manufacturer. This explains the power of brands and branding. When talking about online businesses or just non-profitable websites or blogs looking for readers, it is just as important. I am going to be concentrating on online branding in this blog post because it will have more benefit to you (my reader). What is branding?
Branding is basically the process of assigning an identity to your product or a single individual and then later using that identity in various marketing campaigns and promotions to build up credibility.
What are the benefits of branding?A brand is the set of expectations, memories, stories and relationships that, taken together, account for a consumer’s decision to choose one product or service over another. If the consumer (whether it’s a business, a buyer, a voter or a donor) doesn’t pay a premium, make a selection or spread the word, then no brand value exists for that consumer.
- Seth Godin’s definition of a brand
Every company, both offline and online, should strive to make the perfect identity for themselves. Other than just working hard to improve their product or service, branding can go a long way into improving sales even if your product is not as good as the competition.
The most important thing in branding is being consistent. Using the same colors, the same fonts, the same logo, the same catch-phrase. You want your identity to be recognizable by just looking at the color combinations and not even trying to read the text.
When you manage to turn your company logo, your personal name, surname or photo associated with the words “quality” or “success” – then you know you have done a good job.
Branding and blogging (example)Let’s say you have a blog with great branding done on it. You continue to write good blog posts and you gain more and more readers/subscribers every day. Readers that trust you, that like and share your opinion. When they see your blogs name somewhere else on banners or they meet you on a forum and see read your name or signature links, they will associate you with quality and helpful content.
They will easily forgive youOne of the best benefits of having a recognizable brand is that your users/readers will easily forgive you if you make a mistake such as writing a low quality blog post or having some kind of manufacturing error on your physical product. They will not reach for the unsubscribe button as easily as they might when you are just somebody random and unknown without a recognizable identity. Having a excellent brand will not make up but a useless product or poor quality blog though.
Two types of online brandingWhen talking about existing online, there are two basic types of branding you can choose:
- personal branding
- personal branding with an alias
- company branding
Personal branding
When doing personal branding, an individual business owner or blogger chooses to brand his name alongside a photo of himself. He uses this name while commenting on other blogs, participating on forum and various other social networking websites.
Personal branding with an aliasSome bloggers or website owners that like to remain anonymous or if they have been using a certain alias for a long time, they might want to use that alias for branding. In some situations using an alias can be a good decision but it’s always better to not be anonymous. Check out my last post about The Importance Of Not Being Anonymous and find out why I think it’s better to use your read name instead of an alias..
Here are some examples of personal branding with and without aliases:
Head of the webspam team at Google, Matt Cutts (his blog) is a great example of personal branding without even having a logo, just the name itself.
Robb Sutton has a great thing going on with transforming his name into a stylish logo. Best way to do personal branding in my opinion.
Another blog I read is the David Shaw Blog which is another great and simple example of personal branding with your real name. Maybe not as stylish as Robb Sutton but still very effective.
Another simple and effective example of personal branding from my friend Ileane. I like this blog title because, compared to the other examples, the title is really a sentance that looks like an announcement: “Ms. Ileane Speaks!” that subconsciously demands attention.
18-year-old student and blogger Melvin Dichoso has another great example of personal branding with even a nice associative logo by his name. This is also a variation of using only your first name and not your entire name.
An “extreme” example of not using your entire name and maybe kinda going into the alias party of branding.
It is important to know that you don’t have to be a graphic artist to do good branding. Most of it is based on research and a good and consistent catch-phrase can go a long way into improving your brand.
Company brandingIf you have a business website or one which is run by a few people or a blog with a few friends, you will want to choose a name and logo that will represent your site online. I’ve came across some great examples in the last few months that I have been interested in branding and some of them have really WOW-ed.
So here are some examples of company branding that I would like to share with you:
One of the best, if not THE best example of online branding I have ever come across. This “Fat Cow Hosting” company has it all. They have this great cow mascot and an entire virtual world build around it. They invite visitors to join The Herd, they promise “good hosting, no bull”, etc. Really a great job!
Brian Clark’s Copyblogger is a simple and associative brand that everyone knows about. It is a blog about writing copy on blog and you can’t miss it when you see the typewriter font even if it doesn’t have a vector logo.
An excellent example of a clean and simple blog branding with a logo along with a 2-color scheme. This is great because even without the text, the logo itself would represent the blog.
An example of a sentence-like, color-scheme branding method with a nice catch phrase that makes it clear what the site is about.
It’s great to see an evolution of a brand. Jack Curtis from “Sequence Hosting” is doing a great job with the branding and re-branding of his hosting company website and I’m looking forward to seeing his results.
Blogussion is a great example of what you can do with creative wordplay, in this case “blog discussion” and a very simple logo/brand.
Branding and marketing
After a successful branding operation you will want to use your new brand for marketing as well. Like i mentioned before, it is very important to stay consistent with marketing material by using the same or similar color schemes. When each of your banners looks like it could represent a different company, then you know you have to go back to the drawing board.
Here are some useful links that can help you with branding:
Graphic Leftovers
Graphic Leftovers is a great stock site where you can buy among a lot of other graphic stuff, a great logo that can help you brand your product or website. The prices are quite low and if nothing else, some logos there can give you an idea to make your own. Besides logo designs, Graphic Leftovers can help you with hundreds of banner designs.
Graphic RiverGraphicriver.net is one of the most popular stock graphics places on the Internet being a part of the also popular Envato marketplace chain. I’ve came across some fantastic and professional banner designs for affordable prices that can make a great difference in your branding. There are dozens of categories worth scrolling through so check it out!
Thanks for reading and sharing this post on your favourite social networking sites. I hope branding goes successful for you and that you have fun doing it! Feel free to ask and questions about branding in the comments because there is probably something I’ve missed.

Introducing Twittermoms to the Blog Engage Community
Hi TwitterMoms, Many of you are bloggers and you’re interested in getting more traffic for your blog. One of the best resources that I have found since I started blogging in July of 2009 is the blogging community at http://blogengage.com
Let me explain why it works so well. Blog Engage is a place where bloggers promote each others blogs. We read, vote, leave valuable comments, and retweet each others posts. Now what can be better than that for a blogger? Personally my favorite thing is that there is so much high quality information available. Even as a newcomer you can get noticed quickly and receive top notch bloggers visiting and commenting on your blog posts! I was so impressed by this community that within my first month I created two videos to help new bloggers learn how to join. Take a look and you will see how easy it is. Introduction: The Blog Engage Community Part 1
Introduction: The Blog Engage Community Part 2 If you have a blog I hope you decide to give Blog Engage a try. Here’s what happened to me last month in my November recap Blog Engage Activity for Ms. Ileane Speaks in November
If you want, you can check out the tweets from these bloggers by following the Blog Engage Twitter list I created Two quick things before I close.
1.The owner is Brian and he is the nicest guy. He’s very supportive and will gladly answer any of your questions. You don’t see that with other forums.
2. Blog Engage is absolutely FUN!! E. M. Robie and Sabrina are members too.Tags: blog, blogging, engage, ileane, ms., speaks, traffic, videos

That’s quite a corny title, but have you heard the buzz making its way through the blogosphere about the Blog Engage community? Recently, I said Goodbye Digg, Hello Blog Engage! following the example of many before me who made Blog Engage their blog submission directory of choice.
That hardly describes Blog Engage very well at all. It’s so much more than just a simple directory. It’s a very active community where the owner works tirelessly to promote the blogs that submit to his site. Some members, like myself, have appreciated his efforts so much that we’ve taken up his cause as well.
The German Blitzkrieg Wit – “Brianstorming” ChallengeOne such member is the man from Hamburg, Will McCullogh of Whatawebsite. This week, he challenged several members of the Blog Engage community to come together for a “Brianstorming” session (clever little German isn’t he) to help out Blog Engage’s owner Brian promote our community.
The more active I have become with Blog Engage the more comments and traffic I have received from its members. I have had numerous of my blog posts published in the past few weeks (good luck getting that done on Digg or any other blog directory).
In fact, Blog Engage is now the dominant source of referral traffic to this site! I’d encourage you to join the “Brianstorming” session and add your ideas.
The Lovely Ms. Ileane – A Real Go GiverSomeone you will see participating in the “brianstorming” session, and included in just about any effort to promote Blog Engage, is the lovely Ms. Ileane.
In An Introduction to Blog Engage, I shared a video that Brian had made for new users of the Blog Engage community. What I didn’t know was that he was sparked into action by an earlier post by Ms. Ileane, Introduction: The Blog Engage Community [Video].
Not only that, but she has been very active on Twitter promoting Blog Engage. She’s created a list of all the other active Blog Engage members, and you can follow it at @Ileane/blogengage.
It already has several followers, and she does a great job keeping it updated. Like I said, she’s a real Go Giver! Make sure you get to know her.
A Hash Tag of Our Own – #BlogEngageShe’s also started doing something in her tweets that I really like. She adds the hash tag #BlogEngage when she is tweeting fellow member’s posts. This brings me to the point of this post.
I would like to make #BlogEngage the official hash tag of the Blog Engage community. Obviously, it will take more than just a handful of us to make this a meaningful hash tag.
We need the support of the entire Blog Engage community. Can’t you just see #BlogEngage making it’s way up the Trending Topics on Twitter?
Won’t you please commit to using this hash tag whenever tweeting a fellow member’s post? If so, please leave a brief comment below and we will make sure to add this hash tag when we tweet your posts.
Help Make #BlogEngage the Official Blog Engage Hash Tag.
